I used to live in Santa Ana and if you are a Santa Ana resident, you can enter the Santa Ana zoo for free if you bring proof of residency like a driver's license with a Santa Ana address. I don't live in Santa Ana anymore but I still take my kids here every now and then. This is a really nice zoo and my kids love the pony rides that they have here.
