Sensational cuisine. Expertly prepared. The 10 years that the Zitos have owned this place, really shows in the presentation, preparation and quality. The homemade pasta dishes and the unique freshness of their seafood and poultry dishes is unmatched anywhere else in Chicagoland, Maybe even in North America. Whether or not they are Zagat rated is irrevelant, as a experienced restaurant consumer, I know they ought to be high on the list.
Prices are more than reasonable. You'd expect to pay much more downtown. The dining room is warm, cozy and the aroma of the freshly prepared Italian delights caress your senses and stimulate your appetite.
I highly recommend their daily specials and appetizer varieties. Save room for dessert. The Tiramisu is to fight for. (I would say die for, but then you wouldn't get to eat it).
Pros: affordably fantastic
Cons: undiscoverable

I am very particular when it comes to fine dining. Cafe La Cave has met all my expectations! It has a romantic, intimate ambiance. Great host and wait staff. The food is wonderful, especially the table side prepared steak Diane. Very convenient location to the All State arena and O'Hare. Highly recommended!

Ate here after reading about it on Citysearch - great pizza and we really liked the casual atmosphere! Watched the Cubs game while we waited for our food and loved the pizza. We will definitely go here again when we are in Chicago.

My husband and I have been dining at Tasty Cuisine for the 12 years it's been open. We love this restaurant!! Not only is it our favorite Chinese restaurant, it's our favorite restaurant, above all others no matter the type of cuisine!! Roger loves Salt & Pepper Delight dinner which is large shrimp, huge sea scallops, and squid, probably rolled in salt, pepper, and hot spices. I love their shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The patties are huge and juicy!! We also love their Dinner for Two, Seafood Lo Mein, Stuffed Crab Claws, Sizzling Rice Soup, etc. Egg Drop and Hot & Sour soups are excellent, too! I love the Fried Won Ton and Egg Rolls!!! Makes me hungry just thinking about it!!! Service is friendly and fast! And everything is very affordable!!

First off I am partial to the Islands and the tiki theme. I get to Hawaii every chance I can and enjoy various tiki events around the country. This place is as good as any on the mainland and could hold it's own in Honolulu. The drinks are refreshing and authentic. The food island inspired and excellent. My recent favorites are the kalua pork sliders when I am just in for a snack and the Big Island Rib when I am serious about eating. They have a very entertaining Hawaiian show on Friday and Saturday which is usually packed and reservations needed (you can sometimes sneak a seat at the bar if you are a last minute person). I enjoy the more mellow weeknights where you can get a Zombie or two and just take in the vibe to get away from the stress of life in the city. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Great food, drinks, atmosphere, wait staff and vibe.
Cons: It's still freeking cold when you walk outside!
