Yeah, I know, a terrible opening line, but I'm kind sleepy right now, so forgive me :) In the past 10 years, I have stayed here at least a dozen times. And except for the last time (they "forgot" to mention they were undergoing construction...) it was always a great experience. The rooms are awesome! Beautiful two room suites with french doors, two televisions, sleeper sofa, fridge and tons more amenities. Nice bar, restaurant downstairs. Friendly and efficient staff. If they would let me, I would live here! You can't beat someone doing the housework for you, now can you?

I had to go on a trip to New York and found myself without anyone to drop me at the airport. So I reserved a park and fly package at the hotel and spent the night and left my car for 5 days all for a cool $109.00. The staff were excellent from making sure my baggage was handled properly and rushing me to the airport the following morning.

Wow, I can not beleive the quality of the guestrooms. I am not a typical Ramada guest however I was moved to this hotel by our company as cost cutting measures. The guestroom in their Tower building are outstanding. All their rooms were completely renovated. I can not beleive the quality, very rich and elegant. The mattress is a pillow top and by far it was the best matress I have ever slept on in any hotel. What a value their room rates are very reasonable.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. This visit was definitely a pleasant surprise.
Pros: Value, conveniece, Guestroom

My Husband and I were looking for a hotel near the Rosemont Theater, We came across this Hotel online at the hilton website. I LOVED this Hotel, The room is very spacious and very clean, The Jacuzzi is huge, romantic, and very satisfying to all bath lovers. The room also includes a seperate bathroom with a large shower. When we were ready to go to our show, the complimentary shuttle took us to the theater, free of charge (we tipped the driver) and picked us up after the show was done (at 2:00am and again free of charge)and took us back to the hotel. We purchased the "LIfe's Great Getaways" deal, which includes a free buffet/cook-to-order breakfast for two, which was delicious. Service was very professional, polite, and welcoming. It was a great deal at a low cost.

Maybe I just have a sentimental connection with the Hyatt, (Beatlefest) but I think it's a great hotel for business or for fun, if you are there for conventions at the center next door. My friends and I have never had a problem with the rooms or the service. They have always been helpful and friendly. Granted, I have never ventured far because of the convention I was at so I am not familiar with the neighborhood, except for Maria's Mexican restaurant and seeing a concert off-site one year, but I think it's a reasonable place to stay. Although, NOT close to downtown Chicago and their lobby bar REALLY needs at DJ on the weekends...
Pros: Nice Pool , Clean, Reasonable price
Cons: No bar entertainment, far from Downtown

If you just need to get away from things for a couple days, or you want a great gift idea for an upcoming anniversary or birthday, this is something you may want to consider.
I just recently stayed here for a weekend and I have to tell you that it was the best experience I have ever had with a hotel chain. You get a large two room suite that includes a microwave, 2 televisions with cable, fridge, pull out sofa bed, ironing board and iron, hair dryers...you name it, it's there. For the price you also get a free breakfast (and I'm talking a HUGE selection that includes your choice of eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal and fruit) FREE cocktails and snacks for two hours every evening and the hotel has a nice hot tub, pool and workout room.
The weekend price for all this was only $110 per night. There is also room service, a restaurant (with Starbucks) and a lounge on the facility. Put in a request for the 'executive rooms' that are usually available on a weekend - the rooms are the BEST. For visitors, they offer shuttle service, or the CTA Blue Line is a comfortable walk down the road.

When visiting Chicago recently I rented a car from ACE and I was very pleased with it. The PT Cruiser was new and sparkling clean. It handled well and it turned out to be quite comfortable. The price was definitely right - $74 for three days, including all taxes and fees.
When heading out, the agent gave me excellent directions to my destination, including tips on what lane to stay in for the tolls. What he neglected to tell me nearly got me in trouble though. When returning the car I had to take the toll road again. The exit by the airport has no attendant on duty, just a self-serve, exact change booth. Needless to say, I did not have exact change. I had to jump out of the car there in the middle of the toll road, blocking the traffic, and beg the people in the car behind to break a dollar bill for me. Luckily they were nice, but...
Please, please - do tell people that they need to have change for their return trip!

I am a frequent business traveler and this was absolutely THE WORST experience I have ever encountered. I would rate this in negative stars if yelp would allow me to. I booked this hotel during a very busy convention week in the metro-Chicago area for a total of two nights. I arrived at this location only to find they gave away my reservation to accomodate other guests, when this and all other hotels in the metro area were completely sold out. I was hotel-less at 2:30 a.m., tired, hungry, and annoyed.
The hotel management referred me to another Hyatt 40 miles away from the Chicago metro area. I stayed at this one for a total of 5 hours and checked out only to drive back to downtown Chicago in two hours of city-traffic.
I called the Rooms manager of this hotel and requested a refund for the inconvenience and they most absurd thing is they will not. Instead, they told me to request the refund from my third party booking agency (Orbitz). I have yet to deal with Orbitz, but this seems to me that Hyatt is pawning off the blame rather than being responsible and accountable to their customers.
I DO NOT recommend this hotel and will escalate this situation until I get my money back.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
