Hoshi Coupe is a Japanese salon, but it has both Japanese and non-Japanese hair stylists in its three locations in Manhattan. The atmosphere is pretty down to earth, as you can tell from the simple renovations. You may get a mini massage, depending on which stylist you have. My haircut cost over 60 dollars.
