Every time I've gone into Babies R' Us I've been greeted by pleasant employees and more than ample selections. Even though my son is older now, I will always love going in the store just to browse, possibly for the future :)
Their clothes are a bit pricey though, but they are so adorable and their furniture is beautiful and would fit any decor.

More
The Lexington Beauty College is located on Southport Drive, just off of Southland Drive, and next door to the Good Foods Market and Cafe. If you are looking for a new career and are interested in cutting hair, and getting your cosmetology degree, The Lexington Beauty College has a long history of training Lexington's hair stylists. They have been in Lexington, and at the Southport Drive location, for as long as I can remember (which, without telling you my age, is a very long time!). I call them when I need to make an appointment for a haircut. Haircuts are given by their students, but they are always supervised by an experienced cosmetology instructor, who will take a look at the finished haircut, and make a few perfecting snips here and there, so you are sure to leave with a haircut you can live with. Also, their prices are probably around the lowest in town. I think the last haircut I got there was under $10, so that is a bargain. They have a very small waiting room, so best to be a little early for your appointment, but not too early, as it might be very crowded at times.

We have been to The Stadium several times now and I have to say that we always come away exhausted from all of the fun. There are lots of activities for a wide variety of interests. Tons of video games, a bowling alley, laser tag (the vests are stinky ) and the climbing wall. They have free refills on cups so that is always nice when you have hot sweaty kids running around.
The food isn't all that great but if you want great food then you can go elsewhere :)

Dr. Burton is one of the best dentists! She takes a real interest in her staff and her patients. She is not over-priced and is fair to everyone who walks through her doors. Her work is top-quality and she doesn't do "cheap" work that costs more than it should. I trust her judgement as a dentist even though she may not have the most expensive looking office. I prefer great quality care! Two thumbs up!!!

This is an excellent opportunity for christians to bring their children up to know the lord. This school offers quality education not only in the Bible but the foundations of education also. They are a little expensive but a good education for your children is worh it. I was a student at this school for five years and that has made me a better person because of it.

More
Assembly Christian School used to be a wonderful school with grades K through 12. However; a couple of years ago they had to close the high school. This is/was a really good school with teachers who cared more about their students than what grade they received on a math test. They really take in interest in their students lives. I graduated from this school, as did my younger sisters, and I feel we all received a great education. We all received scholarships to college and have done well (above 3.0) in our university pursuits. This is one of the least expensive private Christian schools in Lexington, and was worth it. They didn't have a huge sports, music or other extra-curricular activities, but we still made by. I would have liked to have some options, but I turned out fine. I'm sure the elementary school now is blossoming!

My children attend JME and love it. The school is clean and well cared for while being a bright and cheerful place for kids. This is our second year there after transferring from another distric school where they were afraid to go to school. We don't have that problem at JME, the teachers are understanding and supportive of all students. My girls love school now and beg to go even on the weekends .
