this zoo is close to downtown Issaquah, with good vista for Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Mountains. It has some beautiful and colorful macaws. Christmas special events with the reindeers are also enjoyable. I like to buy some of the apple slices ($1.5 per box) to hand feed them.
The two cougars are fascinating.
