In this age where everyone is used to an Amazon sized selection, it's hard to be a really good neighborhood-sized record store.
I've frequently walked into the Record Exchange looking for a specific CD not to find it. Maybe this is inevitable given how a small store has to manage inventory and how fast information about music spreads these days.
The thing is that I still like the Record Exchange as a place to browse. Their racks and racks of interspersed new & used cds almost always offer up something I'd meant to check out (often times at a used price).
