At the uptown, even the worst movies shine. It is a grand old theater that hasn’t yet been chopped up into mini-theaters. With men’s and lady’s lounges, a balcony that many swear by, tolerably comfortable seats, and tons of great restaurants in the neighborhood, you can’t go wrong. Unless they’re showing “The Island.” No-one could watch that thing. Uugh.
