Goodwill is a thrift store that carries a lot of clothes, housewares, toys, and other things like that. The clothes are especially cheap but you really have to dig through it to find anything worth wearing. There's a section with some furniture and bikes and electronics, but they're usually more expensive than at a yardsale or something like that. there's a ton of plates and glasses and cookware for cheap, and some stuff is donated by target.
