A little over 15 years ago, there was hardly any mosque in the greater Flint area. This mosque seems to be growing every year, with new parking lots and gymnasiums being built on a continuous basis. The architecture and interior prayer space are quite beautiful and inspire spiritual reflection. Attached to the mosque is a full-time Islamic school (K-8). Mosque goers generally tend to be friendly. On a spectrum of mosques in the U.S., expect this one to be somewhat on the conservative end.
