Writing this after switching vets, I found Feinsod overall very disappointing. At first when I took my bird to him with a broken foot I was very excited I found a vet that could take care of her and he did a great job but eventually the bird died so I continued to take my dogs and cats to him because Anicare was about 2 minutes from my house and it's a pain to switch. However, it soon became apparent that Feinsod had a certain mindset concerning my cats' food. He persistently suggested a brand of cat food that was very expensive, one that I could not afford. Granted, he suggested it because two of my cats are obese (I got them from the shelter that way) so I understood and tried to figure out a way to manage my budget better but it wasn't going to happen. I looked online for other options because it seemed he wasn't going to suggest anything but the expensive kind, which he did at every single appointment for over half of the 20 minutes I was there.
