We dined here for the first time on Saturday evening and the experience was PERFECT. Our service was very pleasant and attentive even though the place was absolutely packed. There was nothing like sitting outside with all of the yachts in view watching the sunset and sipping your cocktails!\r
The food here was very good, and I was a little hesitant to try this place after reading all of the negative reviews regarding the service and food here, but being a local here all of my life I finally took the plunge and I'm glad we did. I had the "Yard Bird" entree for dinner, and it was a whole 1/2 of chicken that was super moist, tender, and flavorful. The best part was that it was completely boneless! My only main gripe was regarding my side of rice and peas. Someone went completely OVERBOARD with the bay leaves, as I had to pick out 2 whole leaves in my serving on my plate which was bizarre and a turn-off. Bay leaves are supposed to be used to gently season a soup or dish and are supposed to be taken out PRIOR to serving. It was like eating perfume flavored rice and peas. The flavor was way too overpowering for the side dish, so I would probably steer clear of ordering the rice and peas again, & suggest you do the same.\r
Overall we loved it. It was a great first time experience and it was a perfect night, service and food both. We will be back!
