my check engine light came on. I was told that one of the oxygen sensors was out and the other one was 'lazy' and they would recommend changing both. $700! I was not feeling well and needed to have my car for the weekend- they indicated that it wouldn't be 'safe' to drive'- so I said ok. Then I called a subaru repair shop who told me that that was very overpriced it should be closer to 225-250 per sensor and the reason that the second one was 'lazy' was that the first one was not working- it you replace one, the second one works again! Also they let me know that the issue wasn't safety, it was fuel efficiency. So I call hoesly back and asked them not to do it but they had started- but agreed just to replace the one. I thought it would be half the cost- no for just one to be replaced it was $565! Wow I feel hosed and will NEVER take my business there again and will let anyone who asks me know what I think.
