My boyfriend had found a coupon so we went. The coupon stated that if you bought one basic burger your second one was $1. You also had to order two beverages.
So I got an iced tea and he requested a coffee to go.
From there, it just got worse. They weren't busy AT ALL and yes even getting water took forever. I am a former waitress and very aware when restaurants have badly trained employees...and they were the worst I have ever encountered.
So our burgers come out...40 minutes later and the fries had clearly been sitting around for quite some time.
I ask for the bill, give him the coupon and he comes back with our check. I then request our coffee to go and he replies with ""Umm the coffee has already been poured out for the day.""
Ok so let me get this straight, I'm obligated to pay for 2 drinks in order to get the special but then it isn't expected of you to deliver both drinks?!
I was beyond shocked.
It sucks for them tpo...I work in the hotel industry (on a property very close to the restaurant) and from now on will NOT be sending my guests or taking my clients there.
Shame on them.
