We had the worst service EVER. We love taking my English mother to dinner here. She always wants to go to C&F when she comes to LA. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Kimberly, the server, was the rudest, most defensive waitress I have encountered. The restaurant was not busy, which in the past, it was always busy when we would come to dinner. That should have been a red flag. But no... Kimberly acted as though she was too busy to take our drink orders. She kept rushing ...OK whatever... When the sausage rolls came, one of them had a hair on it. We let it go...wish we hadn't now! When the bill came she had overcharged us...when she finally came back to our table I pointed it out, she became defensive, took the bill inside came back and put it on the table... She actually argued with us over it. She OVERCHARGED us and she argues with us. After taking off the 15.00 overcharge, we pay the bill. From the moment we were served by her, she was rude. WARNING...if you want to eat there...it's overpriced and rude service. The food is like an Arthur Treachers Fish and chips. Food has seriously gone down and the prices up and the service SUCKS. I contacted the C&F before posting this review. Obviously they don't give a crap about their customer's experience. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But there are too many other wonderful places to eat in LA. Never again at the C&F. BEWARE of the wannabe Kimberly.
