I've been here a few times and each time I'm more and more impressed with this place.
Here's why:
They have a very extensive menu... (I think I counted 5 different preparations of Pork Chops alone).
Even the pickiest eater can find probably a dozen things on the menu they'll love.
The food is extremely fresh and outstanding.
The steak quesadillas are ridiculously good.
I think the guacamole was something like 5 bucks served two, came in the traditional stone Molcajete and was as good as I've had at Dos Caminos or Rosa Mexicano, or any of the other upscale Mexican restaurants I've been for that matter.
Yesterday, I took my family there for my Mom's bday and we had a great time. I tasted everyone's food and everything was great.
And the best part...
5 of us went, we shared appetizers, a pitcher of Sangria and each had an Entree and the bill was less than 70 bucks!
I thought it was a mistake at first but wasn't.
I gave the waiter a hundred told him to keep it and still felt like I robbed them :-)
If you're in the Bronx definitely check this place out.
