If you haven't tried Global Restaurant Bar & Lounge yet, you are missing out! My husband I had dinner there this week for our anniversary and were just amazed at our experience. The wine list is extensive, the ambiance and decor tops most that I have seen and the food is incredible. You HAVE to try the scallops - we got them as an appetizer and I could eaten lots more! The chef came out and greeted the patrons (when is the last time you have seen that??) and our waiter was very attentive to us, despite a party of 10 that was seated at the same time as we were. I can't thank them enough for treating us special that evening, which includes a complimentary glass of champagne. Check them out - easy drive from anywhere in Charlotte and folks in Ballantyne....it's right in your backyard!!!
