They find reasons to overcharge.. 7/8/2008

I have been going to Companion Pet Clinic for many years and think they find reasons to overcharge. \r For example, in February of this year, 08, my dog went in for a infection on his foot and I was billed 26.50 for the exam and 18.81(45.31) for the antibiotics for his foot. I went in July, 08, the doctor told me she was going to take him into the back to trim his hair around his foot to get a better look and that I could wait in the waiting room. He came out with a bandage on his foot and I was charged 26.50 for the exam, 45.00 for technician time, 20.00 for the bandage and 12.94 for the antibiotics (104.44) I questioned the technician charge and bandage charge and the receptionist clearly looks irritated that I asked and offers an explanation that could be given to a 4 year old. Plus, my dog has already ripped off the bandage, just 3 hours after it was placed.\r Pros: They are apparently less expensive than elsewhere, so I hear Cons: They find other reasons to get your money. more
