I recently opened a checking account here at AFCU. The service has been terrible. I had to wait 3 months to get a debit/credit card, and even so, they have a very old system, SO BEWARE bankers! If you bank there, when your paycheck deposits, you cannot use it right away. Nope, their system updates at 9:30, 12, and 7. So say you get paid on Friday, cant touch it till 9:30. If your lucky. I was not so lucky, many times, my check did not update till noon, EVEN though it showed there as early as 7am online. Each time I called, I was talked down to by employees as if I wasnt entitled to my own hard earned money when I wanted it. Not to mention, the one and only loaction. With gas prices, who has the time and gas to drive all the way across town, just because the system is slow, thats the only way to touch my money.
