This is by far the worst dining experience at a restaurant that is not a Denny's. While the menu looked good, I soon found out why there were no pictures of the food on their website, but let's start at the beginning. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we were the 3rd party there. We were seated 10 minutes later (in an empty restaurant). We were shown the menu along with the specials for the day. When I ordered the appetizer from the specials menu (roasted beet salad), I was informed that it was not available. How is it that the daily special is not available at first seating of a restaurant??? It turns out that they were still roasting the beets and it was going to be an hour before it was ready. We went with the French Onion Soup and I had Oyster's on the half shell instead. 20 minutes later, I get the Oysters. Sadly, the raw Oysters were the best part of the meal. After the Oysters, we sat at drank water for another 30 minutes before the soup showed up. While the Soup was good, having soup 1 hour after we arrived pretty much ruined it. Ironically, I guess I could have waited for the beets because it was about 1 1/2 hours from our reservation time before our food arrived. While my wife's filet was decent, my duck could have passed for cafeteria food. The duck was literally 2 pieces of breast sitting in some watery sauce with some vegetable on the side. I wish I took a picture of it, but think taking 2 chicken breasts out of the freezer, throw in to hot water for 30 minutes, and put on plate. The meat lacked flavor and I had trouble cutting it with the steak knife they provided. We decided to cut our loses and skip the dessert as 2 hours has now passed. I am all for enjoying a long dining experience but it's not much of a dining experience waiting 30 minutes between courses. If you are looking for good food, go elsewhere because this is NOT it. BTW...the decor was pretty horrible too. Think haunted mansion.\r
