If you need to buy diamond jewelry such as an engagement ring, then you MUST go to Gemological Trading Corporation (GTC). Don't be a fool by going to a retail jewelry store. I visited several retail stores, like Zales, Ben Bridge and Ultra Diamonds and the rocks they showed me for my price range (which was not at all cheap by the way) looked like finely cut gravel. Then a friend told me about GTC and I gave them a call. I was so glad I did. The staff is exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, professional and there was no pressure whatsoever. My only regret was not grabbing more business cards to give out to my friends. I ended up buying an absolutely astounding engagement ring for the price I was looking for. In fact, I still often find myself staring at it on my wife's hand. All of my wife's girlfriends were a little jealous when they saw the ring, which annoyed my buddies who had foolishly dropped way more money on the world's most expensive chunks of coal at the retail stores. GTC is where you need to go if you are in the market for diamond jewelry or any other precious stone.
