I live the UES for over a year now and I have only used these cleaners for their nice and personable service and they have done many alterations for me...BUT BEWARE!
They have joined the 21st century and installed a computer service to help quicken their service BUT INSTEAD...they are not properly trained on how to use the computer; they do not know how to correctly use the credit card machine...and when they swiped my card so many times and could not figure out how to print a receipt (b/c the paper was installed incorrectly)...I ask for them to CANCEL the transaction and I paid in cash. After I noticed that my checkcard transaction cleared, I approached the merchant w/ proper documentation, politely asked for a refund...and after all these times they remembered me as a customer, this was the first day they didn't know who I was b/c I was accusing them of charging me twice. I even helped them type in my info on the computer when I first dropped off my clothes and I even tried to help by being patient and help direct the proper way to install the receipt paper when they couldn't print out my credit receipt.
I WAS IN DISBELIEF of the deficiency of customer service and the lackluster of care they had for me a longtime customer.
Please do not go to this merchant unless you are prepared to get mistaken for stealing money that they will eventually take from you (no questions asked!). They won't even let you state your case!
GO ACROSS THE STREET ON 1ST AVE INSTEAD!!!
Pros: decent alterations
Cons: ABSOLUTE DISREGARD FOR YOUR PAYMENTS OR OVERPAYMENTS!
