Moderately priced gourmet food with a casual atmosphere! Candles and recessed lights illuminate the restaurant to give a truly romantic dining experience. When you walk in, you would never guess the place is a restaurant. From the outside it appears as if they are closed almost as if a garage door was pulled down. To the left is a glass door to push open. When you walk in, the entire seating area is about the size of a two car garage with a Nuevo bar in the back. Small bistro tables line the walls with white linens and the appearance of expensive silverware. Service is prompt and the wait staff is truly a pleasure. The menu is limited to whatever is fresh and it was easily noticed that the chef took pride in his (or her) work! I had a shrimp appetizer that was out of this world delicious followed by a Napoleon tomato with warm vinegar dressing which remarkable. The filet was cooked to perfection and was amazingly tender. With the limited choices in the Capitol City, The Olive Room is truly a breath of fresh air for those who appreciate fine Gourmet treats!
