Great Place to See a Game 3/29/2006

Yankee Stadium is a must see. It is great to see all the legends in Monument Park, hear the Bleacher Creatures shout role call and experience the atmosphere of Yankee Stadium. The lower part of Yankees Stadium is orginial. There is always a big crowd on hand. There are plenty of bars along River Ave. The only negative is traffic. If you drive in, then you might sit in traffic on the George Washington Bridge for a little while. But it is not that bad. There is plenty of parking, but I would suggest finding a lot and not parking in the parking deck b/c it may take you forty-five minutes to get out of the deck. Yankee Stadium seats about 55,000 and the 2005 average attendance per game was 50,000. Also, drink at one of the bars outside Yankee Stadium b/c it does cost about $9 per beer. Pros: Atmosphere, Parking, Life around Stadium Cons: Food, Beer Prices, Traffic more
