For those little things every home needs -- picture frames, kitchen gadgets, scrub brushes -- we're lucky to have Ikea, CB2 and Target, but don't overlook Linens 'n Things. This location is stocked to the hilt with items for every room in the house (even the patio), as well as personal comfort/grooming products -- and, unlike Ikea out in Schaumburg, it's very convenient and close to the Belmont stop. It's also a great place to find several of those wonder inventions you order off TV (without the shipping and handling fee) and a few discounted novels. The store is usually crowded, so the staff can't be bothered with customer service. That's ok, because your exploration will probably yield something you need but hadn't thought of.
