The consultant was over 1/2 hour late for the appointment. The salon is old, dinghy and poorly lit. The bridal salon is in the basement. We asked if we could go down and look around - and at least there was a sofa we could sit on while we WAITED for THEIR consultant. Can't believe they didn't suggest it. Anyway when Etty? showed up she didn't real appologize for having us wait. The bride describided what she was looking for and her price range....Etty says no problem - we don't carry anything over that price anyway. We cam to this salon specifically to see a particular designer that they said on their website they carry. Well they only had two and they were from prior collections. Then Etty goes to pull some dresses - well the dresses weren't even close to what was described. She kept saying this is a beautiful dress......who cares if it isn't what the bride wants. She was specifically told the bride does not like anything funky - no overdone ruffling or feathers or anything crazy. We were told not to touch the dresses (which is fine) but then she did not go in to help the bride put on the dresses... the bride is tiny , she had a hard time lifting the dress - and then what is she suppose to do try to tie up the bacjk herself?? we weren't alolowed to held because - we were not allowed to touch the dress. After bringing out 4 dresses she says lets try this one on - and what does it have - you got it a rediculous bottom of ruffle upon ruffle. We said NO she is not trying that on. She then left to take a phone call - really after being a half hour late to work. She also tried to get the bride to wear her hair up and was getting frustrated when the bride and family were repeatedly telling her the same thing. We could not wait to get out there) As we were leaving she stated you will be back - everyone comes back you will never get the wonderful experience you get here any where else..lol. We start walking out and we see a dress that was exactly what the bride described - yet it was never shown to her. Worst place ever
