I have been here once, and its because for whatever god forsaken reason the foreign language department forces us to buy the books here.
I am all for saving money, that is why I scout amazon. This place is overcrowded and the workers are incredibly slow and rude. If I worked that slow at my job, I would be fired. I called just to ask about a price, and the lady goes well I can't help you were not open until Monday. I was like, you cannot tell me the price? Nope....
I would rather spend 10 bucks more and buy from the University Book store, or beter yet, the professors have to have the book lists in several weeks before the term; so I would rather have a list of books so I can purchase outside UCR.
The lines are miserable, and the people generally unhelpful. I'll pay more for speed and precision.
