I stopped by this establishment to inquire about having a sofa refurbished. The woman that "greeted" me was the most insulting and rude individual I have ever encountered. Without knowing anything about the work I wanted done, she concluded that the furniture was "too cheap" to be worth fixing. She very sarcastically stated, "Uh, here's a little thing you might want to know: people that get their furniture reupholstered pay alot for their furniture." Her blatant rudeness, sarcasm and elitist attitude was especially surprising given the tackiness of her shop and her general appearance. Although the furniture I was interested in restoring was not that expensive and I would have probably decided against spending the money anyway, her attitude was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. What she didn't know was that this piece was just a sofa I planned to use in the gameroom of a new house I had recently purchased. Having three boys, I don't really want to put expensive furniture in there. However, I have also purchased approximately $80,000 worth of other furniture for the remainder of the house. Some of these individual sofas and chairs cost more than $8,000. When it comes time to reupholster these in a few years, I think I would rather have Attila the Hun do the work than this place. more
