I have been going to Gene &Jude's since the 50's when it was a small garage type brick building located about 50 feet directly in front of the present building. The hot dogs and french fries are as good today as they were back then. I live in Des Plaines now and try to make at least one trip each month. Best time to visit is Monday or Tuesday before 11:30 when the place is just starting to get crowded for the hungry lunch-time crowd.
