I am writing this to express my appreciation for the service that Cindy Smith recently provided me. I have been a resident of Austin Ranch since 2001. I recently requested that the flooring in my bathrooms and kitchen be upgraded. This was the first person of any kind that I've made other than for very minor maintenance issues. Many visitors to my apartment had remarked on the poor quality of the flooring in those rooms and neighbors have expressed similar dissatisfaction with theirs as well. When the request was first made I felt that Austin Ranch wanted to do nothing, or at least as little as possible. I had already started looking for a new place to live when the issue was turned over to Cindy. From the first time I spoke with her, her attitude showed me that she was more interested in finding what could be done than in finding ways in which to say no. She agreed that Austin Ranch would save money in the long run by keeping its residents happy. She acknowledged that the carpet/painting cost that would have been spent on my apartment would have been many times greater than the flooring if my apartment has the same turnover as the others in my building. She was curteous and friendly. I mentioned a date that was convenient for me and Cindy followed up with me after that date to make sure the work had been done. It had not been and she immediately scheduled it for a day soon after. It was because of this work being done and Cindys positive attitude that I jave chosen to renew my lease for a year. I dont know how much longer I'll be at Austin Ranch but positive experiences like this will ensure that I recommend the comunity to friends who are looking in the future.
