Steve Poltun Entertainment

My experience with Poltun Entertainment was a terrible one. The owner, for some reason repeatedly accused me of trying to spy on his website and that I was trying to destroy him. I had no idea what he was trying to prove at this point. I said he must be out of his mind to accuse someone of these things. After trying to work with him, the accusations kept coming and I just couldn't take anymore. I ripped into him and told him that he had serious mental problems and needed to get some help. I have since heard about others he has mistreated and want nothing to do with him. Do yourself a favor and don't ever deal with Poltun entertainment in this lifetime or the next! more

First off, Poltun Entertainment can't be trusted with any of your personal information. The owner appears to have mental problems and will attempt to use any personal information against you. Keep very good records or, in my experience, he may deny what he promises or simply try to rip you off. He pretended to be someone he was not and didn't follow through on his promises. He lacked the ability to show up on time and was not professional in the least. I would not trust Poltun with any of my information or with anything period. His office is in his apartment in the West Loop and he is not only disorganized, but he has a sloppy appearance. He actually seems to have some type of mood disorder and went on ridiculous rants when I asked him questions. I would never, ever deal with Poltun again. more

Good: Pros- I think that Steve Poltun makes an attempt to show interest initially in what you want, but it isn't long before you can see that his interest is rather phony and he is irritated easily, too emotional for a business situation and not very professional.. Bad: Cons- He is not punctual, he is not very truthful or forthright, his quality of work is less than average in my estimation, he does not have a very professional appearance for this type of business, I'm not sure he takes his business very seriously and he doesn't seem to have a very stable mental outlook.. Improvements: He needs to be more professional, stop with the tall-tales(it must be hard to be a middle-aged man who appears to be a narcissist), focus on the customer's needs not on your own and stop with the passive-aggressive behavior as it is painfully obvious.. Other: Personally I would not do any type of business with Steve Poltun again. I found him to be paranoid, petty and mentally unstable. In this economy it is wise to know what type of company you are dealing with. This one is definitely one to take a pass on in my experience.. more
