After we were married, we combined all of our banking and opened accounts at Citizens Bank. Since the Giant Eagle branches have more convenient hours than independent branches, we used Giant Eagle. While the person that helped us was very friendly, they did not know the correct type of checking account for us to open. Thankfully, I had done my research before going in, so I knew which account would be best for us. Since they would not open that account for us, I had to call and have the account opened the next day by another bank. When they offered to send us a credit card, we declined, but a few days later, we still received credit cards. From now on, we will work it into our schedule to make sure that we can do our banking at the traditional branches.
