This church is like home to me. Our parish has a history of being blessed with exceptional clergy, especially Fr. John Moneypenny and Msgr. Urell, who have both been re-assigned. Our current pastor is so good he's been promoted to Auxillary Bishop! We have a close nit parish community and wonderful ministries. God is good - all the time!

Man, I would choose Southern California any day over Northern California. (I think this is what you mean by live North or South right?) The climate is so much more temperate and comfortable in the Southern California. In Northern California it is always cold, windy, and unpleasant in my opinion. The beaches in Southern California are also really great. So-Cal is the place to be. If you are looking for a particular city I would recommend Irvine. It's a growing community and a great place to live. There is UCI (the university) and a great variety of places to go for entertainment...

This is a wonderful park, large in area with a lake (which does have ducks), a creek, and a large amount of playground equipment. There are quite a few wide open spaces and the paths are hilly, all of which make the park an enjoyable place to spend time. It's a nice retreat, even though it's so close to one of the busier parts of Lincoln Ave, roughly down the street from The Village (Mall of Orange).

Planned Parenthood offers a lot of great services. If you are a minor, you can qualify for free medical visits and get a lot of services confidentially, without telling your parents. At least until the November election.
For now you can get std testing and treatment, birth control of all shapes and sizes, abortions, adoption referrals, prenatal care, pretty much anything related to reproductive health.

When I first moved to California, I had no idea what churches were good to check out. My first visit to a Catholic Church out here was a good one in Holy Family Church. The people there seemed really nice and the priests that resided over the mass were quick and sometimes entertaining, which is always a big plus. There's plenty of parking on the weekend, and the place seems to fill up fast. Overall it is a positive experience. If you are looking for a nice Sunday mass, definitely check out Holy Family Church.
