Unfortunately neccessary 1/16/2006

When my oldest daughter started exhibiting behavior we could not explain and we felt her pulling away from us, we sought out help. Luckily, we looked in the right place, at Fox Valley Institute For Growth and Wellness. She was assigned to a therapist who was able to discuss things with her that she was unable to discuss with us. Do we know all of her issues? No, but she seems less lost and there is life in her eyes that was missing for a while. more

When times are rough... 11/9/2005

The professionals at Fox Valley Institute care, they really care. At times when you feel less than your best, they offer perspective that you are unable to gain in your current state. When things improve, they celebrate with you. It's awesome to grow emotionally as I share myself with someone who is really listening. And none of that "high and mighty" stuff either. These are real people and that matters. more

Helpful and caring 11/9/2005

The therapists at Fox Valley Institute are wonderful clinicians and wonderful people. I came to them after leaving a therapist I was comfortable with after moving. They don't care just because it's their job. They care because of who they are. this is a testament to their owner and founder, Laura Bokar, but also to the individual members of the staff. Realizing that you need the kind of help they can provide is not easy, but receiving it from them is. more
