Wonderful Facility!!! 6/16/2005

This was the third daycare/preschool that we tried in approximately six months. The others looked good at first but I started seeing several things I didn't care for. My three children have been with the British Private Preschools (there are two in Katy both have the same owner, we go to the Katy Hockley cut off Rd location) for approximately six months now and love it! The staff is terrific and they are constant. Your children have the same care givers day in and out, no high turn over rate here. The facility is always spotless and the children are always clean and appear to be well taken care of. The facility has Preschool in the am where they pretty much follow KISD curriculum and then play time in the afternoon. The meals and snacks are planned out in advance and you know what your child will be eating everyday, which is a nutritious yummy meal. I always want to stay and eat if I'm there at meal time ;). I was always worried about my children being picked up from school or there being some type of confusion and them being misplaced. I am 99% (I'm a mom I have to worry some!) sure that my kids will be picked up from their school on time and if there is a concern or a mix up on the school's end the BPPS (British Private Preschools) will stay at the school until your child is located or if there is a question about how your child is suppose to get home that day they will take him or her back to the preschhool and contact you. For example one day the elementary school had my son in the car rider line. The BPPS went to pick him up and the school told the driver he was absent that day, the driver immediately telephoned the director who called me and asked if he was home today. I stated no and was alarmed of course that my son was MIA. The director notified the driver that he was suppose to be there at the elementary school and being picked up by BPPS. The driver notified the principal and made sure my son was located and placed on the BPPS bus. When this happened with one of the other day care centers they just left him and I found him on my door step 45 after the public school bus dropped him off! As a parent I'm sure you know a missing child is an extremely scary situation but I was reassured that my children will ALWAYS be a priority and for the past six months they have been. My children love their teachers and going to school, where as before I had to drag them. more
