Spahr’s is the best value in town for fried Catfish! It is located in the Plantation Inn on Tunnel, but don’t be put off by eating in a Hotel restaurant. The best dish there is the Catfish Chips. It comes with a HUGE amount of fried catfish cut in small chunks and fried, and served with a large amount of fries. To save money, get the kids size Catfish chips. It is cheaper than the regular size and a large enough serving to feed a good-sized adult and still have plenty left over to take home.
