Everything at Big Als is great from the boiled seafood to the gumbo. All is so mouth watering! The crabs are always fat and full. The crawfish are boiled with just the right touch of seasonings. Scarlett Scope Ice Cream Parlor has been around for SO long. I was a little girl having ice cream there and then my sons were born and got to expeirence the good ice cream. It was a treat after school to go there with the neighbor lady to get ice cream on the way home. At night sometimes for supper I will have the soft serve vanilla ice cream when I am feeling blue. Its soooooo good. It taste like the old fashion stuff. The strawberry sundaes are great too>

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and you can go next door and hear some music in the bar. Their fajitas (chicken, steak or shrimp) are the best. I also love their frozen Pina Colada. I have had Pina Colada's at a lot of different places, but I only get them from La Casa now, because they are the best I have ever tasted.

The food at Samurai Dragon is great. I love the interior of this restaurant. It is a great place to go on a date. Very cozy and inviting. Also, if you are with a group of people, don’t miss sitting at a table with a Hibachi Chef. They will cook up stuff for you right in front of you and are very skilled at cooking and entertaining with their knife skills!

I'm typically not a big fan of buffets, and I've had just enough authentic Chinese food that many of the overly Americanized restaurants turn me off, but Golden Dragon does an excellent job for what they are. I don't go away feeling like I've been pumped full of MSG, the food is tasty and varied even with the non-chinese additions to the buffet, and the family that runs it seems quite nice.
I haven't been to any of Houma's other Chinese restaurants, so I can't really make a comparative judgement here, but I've not had a bad experience here yet, even if this is the first Chinese restaurant I've been to that serves boiled crawfish.

Copeland's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. With signature dishes and awesome desserts, this place is sure to provide a nice to time to all. I absolutely love the Mardi Gras Punch. You can always find yourself having to wait on Friday/ Saturday nights, but the wait is well worth it. The wait staff is very professional and courteous.

I have tried a lot of Chinese restaurants in Houma looking for one that satisfied my tastes. Dragon Garden has crossed all of the other restaurants off my list. Imperial Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice from Dragon Garden are a normal meal in my house. The chicken is flavored just right with added peppers for a little spice. They also use white meat, which is a big plus in my house.

If you like chicken fingers, this is the place. The chicken is so tender and crisp, and OMG you must try the mustard sauce for dipping!! They also make these stuffed potatoes that are to die for. My favorite is the seafood potato. If your looking for great food at a great price, this is the place. I promise you will be satisfied!!
