Space Walk had a bunch of different inflatable bounce houses for rental. We really enjoyed the one with the climbing wall on one side, and a slide on the other. IT was really great to have it partitioned this way when you have a mix of older and younger kids at a party. It is not too expensive to rent from here, and your party guests will be happy-even adults will enjoy jumping around in them!

Books a Million is Houma's premiere new bookstore. They have all titles sorted by authors and titles and if you have a discount card, those purchases are at 10% discount.
I have needed a certain book for classes and Books A Million has ordered the book and had it in the store within three days. I hate to pay this much for books, but at times the urge is killing me or the class requirements are so strict that I couldn't get the professor to bend.
Books A Million can also be shopped to find that perfect gift. If a book just isn't appropriate for the gift, try calendars, book marks, magazines, train items, or even a gift card to the coffee shop.
thanks,
stephanie

Don't send your kids here. You're made to believe that Vandy is so great, but it's awful unless you come from a family of money. Terrebonne High and HJH have better math programs than they do.

I went to st. francis and I can say for a fact that I didn't learn anything better than the average public school kid. The kids at St. Francis were very cruel and snobby, even though the school only goes up to 7th grade, the children there when I was enrolled seemed to think they were better than others just because their parents had them enrolled in a school that costs money. Usually, most of the parents of this school had money. The curricula was good, but the same everywhere else and your children will get a average education going to this school, so unless you are really pressed on having them learn at a religious institution, just save your money and have them go to public schools. St. Francis is no better yet no worse than most other public schools I have came across.
