The guys of Mermaid Aquarium, now The Aquarium Showroom has revolutionairy blown away any Aquarium Retail store in the bay area. The selection went from big to GIGANTIC and may be the largest in the NATION. Definitely worth checking out if you are an avid fish enthusiast. It is also a great attraction for the kids. Great place to buy saltwater fish! 9/28/2005

My father is really into fish at the moment and this is a place he absolutely loves. We all know that Saltwater fish are extremely expensive and I've been to tons of places &bought tons of fish (only to have them die in a couple of days because they were treated so poorly at the aquarium). Mermaid is one of the most honest places I know. They have the just right prices and their fish tanks are all nice and clean. The fish don't appear to ever have anything wrong with them so I can say that Mermaid Aquarium is a place where you can buy your fish and not have them die on you within a couple of days! more

here fishy fishy fishy 8/14/2005

This fish store has very nice displays. There are several large salt-water tanks as well as fresh water fish. The prices here are a bit on the expensive side, so I primarily come to admire the fish. My favorite part of the store is the shallow pool with the rays; these guys are about the size of a pancake and glide through the water. Very cool. more

Good Selection, But Pricey 8/14/2005

My dad is an avid fish enthusiast so this is one of his regular haunts. Overall they offer a very wide ranged selection of fish and supplies. However one problem is that this store tends to be pricey. The fish are nice to look, but they certainly come with a price tag! more
