The only reason I'm a member is because I usually go to the newly renovated Y by my work. I'll occasionally go to this one on weekends. Try to avoid going during swim meets - you campy find a parking space. I've seen people circle the parking lot and leave. Also, rarely does anyone wipe off the equipent. Make sure you wipe it off before you usie it in addition to after using it. more

WOW! 2/6/2010

I recently joined the ME Lyons YMCA and I must say that i am very impressed. I was greeted as i walked thru the front door and have been assisted in every question i have. The fitness equipment is all brand new and the place is really clean. The best thing about that YMCA is it's staff. Caring, Honest and Respectful. I recommend checking it out! more

Not great. 1/12/2010

This Y is okay at best. First off, the child watch is a joke. The hours of it are totally inconvenient, closed at noon hour, closed Sundays and most of Saturday etc. etc.The fluctuating cost of swim lessons for members is outrageous and most importantly, it would be helpful if the ME Lyons YMCA would hire anybody to work the front desk that knows how to spell their own name and tell time....COMPLETELY INCOMPETANT AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!! In 3 years i don't think ive signed up for swim lessons once without them screwing something up, time, overcharging me etc. more

YMCA in Anderson 9/1/2005

I originally joined this YMCA in order to get into shape. They have a really nice olympic size pool which I like to swim laps in, but the free swims are not scheduled very frequently. The gym equiptment is OK...not as high-tech and nice as other YMCA's I have seen, but this is the closest to me. They have lots of summer camps for children which is a good thing. more
