Thought I was calling Overhead Doors in Charlotte, NC - even asked several times if they were Overhead Brand Doors and was told YES. When service worker arrived in a plain white truck wearing an unmarked t-shirt, I then again asked if they were Overhead and told Yes. He gave me an estimate of $1,200 which I thought was extremely high but my car was literally trapped inside my garage. He then installed a Guardian brand opener which I questioned, since I was expecting an Overhead unit. He lead me to believe it was Overhead's higher end unit to accommodate my very heavy door. The final cost ended up at almost $1,500!!! Twelve days later, my very pricey garage door opener is not working!!! When I called the number on my emailed receipt, I found out this was NOT Overhead Doors but Overhead Garage Doors. I was told I needed to go online and download the user manual and trouble shoot the issue - even though my receipt clearly states 90 guarantee. Ever person I spoke to from this company was ruder and shadier than the last. The company is actually based in San Diego CA. The real Overhead informed me I should not have paid more than $750. Please learn from my mistake! DO NOT USE THESE CRIMINALS!!!!!! If I could give zeros stars I would!
