We have taken group lessons at dance places and through adult education programs, but FADS is definitely better. The lessons are very expensive, though. I guess you get what you pay for. The instructors are very talented, and they really know how to teach. They work with you at your level, and they try very hard to motivate you. If you are signed up for a package of lessons, you can also attend special Practice Parties, which are a lot of fun (and less intimidating than going to ballroom places where people are already very accomplished). All the staff is very friendly. The location is convenient with easy parking.
