I appreciate your strong effort in getting my heat going. It was a cold night with out it. Your technician was knowledgeable. the price was reasonable. No one else even returned my phone calls until the next day. By then, my pipes would have froze.

Homework Unlimited recently installed two new back doors for me and replaced an old door with one that I had. They were very competent, trustworthy and reliable. The crew works together very professionally and did a thorough job in cleaning up after the job was completed. I will definitely have them do more work for me when the need arises. I highly recomment them.

More
H.O. Electric replaced the Belmont High School flagpole lighting in time for the home football game. H.O. Electric discovered the flag pole lighting installed previously by his son Ben Oven for his Eagle Scout project had been vandalized. Although the project had been a great success, Ben had to live with in a limited budget. As a result, an inexpensive surface mounted fixture was installed. This method proved worthy for a couple of years.
Howard Oven, Owner of H.O. Electric came up with a better design to improve the lighting, eliminate potential vandalism caused by youths, and gain years of service for sport fans. H.O. Electric trenched the area near the flagpole and installed well lighting. “The lights are now buried into the earth. This should avoid someone from kicking the and potentially vandalizing the flag pole lighting. The community will now be able to see the flag they salute at the games. Hopefully, Ben’s Eagle Scout legacy will also carry on. I’m happy to contribute!” According to Howard, The United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Paragraph 174 states: “It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flagstaffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness.” H.O. Electric has served the Belmont area for years. They solely funded the project from labor and material, start to finish. H.O. Electric can be reached at 617-489-6324 for questions or comments. Howard indicated that the project photos would eventually be on their website for review: www.hoelectric.com

Nick did a great job creating a new back entry for our house and moving a doorway in the interior. He is a great communicator--returning phone calls and emails promptly. We would hire him again!

I have been going to Cushing Square Auto Service for about 2.5 years. The owner, Eric, is reliable and honest. He's saved me money by fixing problems that I would have been willing to pay a lot more for. As a result, I go to him every time.
Pros: Great service, and you can trust him to be honest.
Cons: Not open Sundays! I guess he needs a day off too...

I have been so happy with this guy's job I will sing his praises anywhere I can.
He's the most honest and competent mechanic I've ever met.
So far he has always done a perfect job, charged me up to half of what others would have charged and is an extremely kind person.
Pros: honest, cheap, competent

The toilet overflowed and it went all over the bathroom. It was disgusting! To clean it up, I called Flood Control, who I know to be a reliable, professional company. They do excellent cleanup work, and are quite thorough and hard working! They always manage to impress me with how clean things are when they are done, and that is the reason why I continue to use them for emergency cleaning!

When I first stepped into Bella, they were located in Concord, MA. I loved selecting my Shabby Chic home items there, along with cute soaps and homewares. When they moved the store from Concord to Belmont, MA, I was heartbroken since I never get down to Belmont. Since they've moved, I had to locate a closer store for my Shabby Chic stuff, but I still like to visit Bella in Belmont at least once a year to see what they have in. The shop is very whimsy and cheery - and they carry very pretty items that would complement Shabby Chic, Traditional, Whimsy, Victorian, or Eclectic homes. I wouldn't suggest someone with a modern home shop there - but they could still go to select pretty gifts for others. It's a very feminine store - I don't recall seeing any gifts for men, but they do have alot of baby and ladies gifts. The prices are average - you can get things are ALL prices in there from $3 and up. Bella is located in the "downtown" shopping area in Belmont and is very pretty. I hope you get to enjoy it and see for yourself just how charming it really is!
