The food is so good and very affordable. They are extremely family-friendly. We never go to a Ranger's game without stopping at RH&B first!

Gone Downhill! 1/15/2010

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times before and always enjoyed it well enough. The time before yesterday was not quite as good, but still acceptable. Yesterday, however, was terrible! Three of us ate and we all had the same experience. My Brunswick stew bore no resemblance to what they had before and was tasteless, a pale tan, and watery. The manager said that the recipe had not changed. BS! The brisket was dry (did I say dry?!?) and completely tasteless. My pulled pork was edible, but not very good at all. The sausage on the appetizer plate must have been from the day before and must have spent a LOT of time under the heat lamp. The cherry cobbler dough was half raw and the cherries did not taste like cherries. The tomatoes on the salad were actually green! The chocolate cake was edible, but REALLY mediocre, if that. The beer (Bass ale) was in a bottle and was the only redeeming feature - but there was a lot to redeem! The manager apologized and claimed surprise - and gave us a freebie card for next time. Needless to say, for us there will not be a next time, but I will see if I can give the card to somebody, after informing him/her of our experience. It is a shame, too, because they just lost 6-10 customers, maybe more. more

This is not my favorite 3/29/2006

The food is decently priced and atmosphere is ok, but this is just not my favorite. It is not one of thoes knock em dead scrumptios BBQ places. Its a good place to eat if you a hungry as the portions are nicely sized. But this is not what I would call the best of Texas. more
