I bought a case of King Crab legs at the Arlington store (76017), and asked for the seafood manager (Mario) for a special order. He not only helped me, but got the Store Mgr. directly involved.
In this time of fast-paced, non-personalized , cookie-cutter mentality it is good to have a local store that still knows how to take care of the customer and make that customer feel like he matters!
The store is well stocked and has a good layout.

Fab prices, great selection. Best time to shop at this market is saturday morning while all the baked good are at their freshest!!
Try some of the baked pasteries and steamed buns. You can also pick up Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Indian, African, and Mexican items here.
It is truely a world market.
At this market you can find so many things not available in regular markets and pick up your regular staples as well.
This is one of my favorite markets in Arlington.

This store is technically in Pantengo since Arlington is a dry county. But its on the border next to green oaks. Huge store all the liquor you could possible want. The shop is nice and clean and the employees are always on hand to lend helping advice about mixing or wine. One stop drink shopping too as you can get your glasses, salts, mixes, limes, lemons, and all the other fixins here.
Prices are reasonable and selection is diverse.

I like Better Health a lot. Surprisingly, though, I never realized that it wasn't called Natural Foods until I tried to look it up for this review.
When I was pregnant and getting all sorts of advice for this herb and that herb I could never understand why people I chatted with online were having such a hard time finding things until I realized that I always stopped at Better Health first. They seem to have every kind of natural supplement ever made.
Not only is the stock extensive, the people working there are awesome. They always have time to chat, and not just about supplements. I've never run into anyone there that isn't outgoing and interesting. They have several free publications by the register; books about herbs and supplements as well as new-agey newsletters.
I meet so many conservative people through work that it's fun to go into Better Health and see a different track -- don't let anyone tell you that the hippy movement is dead.

I used to live in China and Hong Kong, and when I returned to the DFW area, I found myself craving the foods I had loved in Asia. I was thrilled when I discovered the Hong Kong Market in Arlington. The store is huge for an Asian market in the South, and stuffed with fresh produce and meats, baked goods, sauces and spices, noodles and rice, teas, snack foods, and frozen goods. I was able to find everything I needed to make an authentic Chinese meal, and their prices are exceptionally low. in addition, the store stocks cookware, serving dishes, tea sets, steamer baskets, and everything else you might need to prepare Asian food. The store also has a small African food section. I love perusing the aisles of Hong Kong Market--I feel like I am back at the grocery store I frequented in China (and can even buy many of the same brands I bought there)!

AT THE ABOVE STORE SINCE I AM HANDICAPPED THEY HAD AN ITEM ON SALE AND I NEEDED TO KNOW IF THEY HAD A SPECIFIC KIND. THE WOMEN TALKING TO ME DID A SEACH THERE WERE NONE ON THE SHELF. SHE SAID WAIT, CAME BACK ON AND SAID AN ORDER HAD COME IN ,SO SHE WENT TO SEE HOW MANY CASES THERE WERE,TOLD ME AND I ASKED IF THAT WAS THE SPECIFIC BRAND I ASKED FOR, SHE WENT AND FOUND OUT THE KIND I WANTED WASN'T INCLUDED IN THE ORDER. I THOUGHT HER TO BE VERY KIND AND PACTIENT WITH ME. MOST OF THE PEOPLE THERE ARE KIND & CURTEOUS. I LIKE SHOPPING THERE. IT'S COMFORTABLE, PRICES ARE FINE AND PEOPLE HELPFUL.

only 2 complaints about this store. 1) the price... It is not for the budget conscious, unless you only buy their bulk cereals and honey. 2) there are too many fish in the fish tank, its borderline animal cruelty, what you would not expect from a store like whole foods.
Otherwise, they have an awsome selection of Organic and "good for ya" products, their produce and meats are the highest quality in all of Arlington. And their deli is devine! People are super friendly and its not super crowded. Also the Jamba juice is great too.

Don't you love Costco?
I love Costco because of all the deals and steals. It seems I am always finding these carts on the end of the aisles with special clearance deals. I just got a cool Rabbit Corkscrew - normally $29.99 - for only $8.00. And a set of 24 drinking glasses in a very cool design for only $4.00. Am I cheap? Does a chicken have lips?
OK, so maybe a chicken doesn't have lips. But the Pope used to be Polish.
LOVE the free samples. Sometimes the husband and I will walk through the store and just enjoy lunch.
Here's a free tip - Kirkland Brand Toilet Paper was highly rated in a national study. It's just like Quilted Northern and it's the only stuff we buy.

There are not many Albertsons grocery stores around now a days, but the Green Oaks location is still here. The prices still are high to me, for example: Senso pods coffee $5.49 here and at Target $4.44. So I pick and choose what I buy here.
The customer service is great though..... The sales people, deli people, and checkers and baggers are all so friendly and nice. It give you a good feeling shopping there.
The store is not new, and the layout is a bit crazy. Their fresh baked bread and fried chicken are yum!!
