Best (and the only) Taiwanese bakery in Boston 7/19/2006

Not your ordinary Chinese bakery. Yi Soon Bakery sells Taiwanese style pastries - they're not as sweet and greasy as the ones you usually find in Chinatown bakeries. If you like sweet buns, I recommend ""the bomb"", which is a football shaped bun filled with sweet butter and raisins. I also like their taro buns and scallion mincemeat roll. more

Chinese bakery with a twist 9/3/2005

It's not your usual traditional Chinese bakery like steam buns and moon cake. It's Chinese-western bakery. Some Chinese bakeries serves only the traditional stuff, other serve both. Yi Soon's bakes their selection daily and seal them for freshness. Can you find anything from regular bread loafs to ham and egg buns to green tea red bean ice-cream birthday cakes. Their birthday cakes are not the usually rich and creamy stuff, but a much lighter and softer delight. Pros: Fresh Chinese bakery Cons: No parking more
