Very helpful 1/6/2011

I had my ring appraised today by Todd and he was very helpful and professional. He explained everything to me and let me look at my ring through the microscope which was nice. They also extensively cleaned all of my rings (even the ones I wasn't appraising) for free and checked them all out to make sure nothing was loose/damaged. My experience was very good and the price was right too. I will definitely be going to them in the future. more

World Gemological Services is customer-oriented and boasts a successful appraisal process. Whitney helped me with both of my appraisals and she was the epitome of a professional. She made a point to inform me of my diamond's main characteristics and other useful knowledge about the industry. Super Service! Super informative! 11/27/2010

I have to say I really am happy I found this company when I was looking online to get an appraisal for insurance. Over the years I have gone to various appraisers. I found World Gemological the best Ive been to so far. They were very professional, had amazing costumer service, and even though when I initially made the appointment for a half hour, the appraiser sat with me until I had all my questioned answered about my rings. I love jewelry, and it was a pleasure to talk to them, because I thought Id learned a lot over the years, but I learned so much in the 45 mins I spent there. I will definitely bring my service into them when I need to, and definitely recommend anyone reading this to go to them! more

Friendly, Helpful, Great Experiance! 11/22/2010

I was looking to get my item insured, but was very nervous about leaving my wifes ring anywhere. These guys put me at ease. They do the appraisal right on front of you, and you dont have to leave it with them. They showed me the stone under the microscope, and gave me a great diamond education at the same time. I would highly recommended going to these guys if you are looking to get your jewelry appraised. Everyone was helpful, and made sure I knew all about my wifes ring before I left. Thanks more

The wife loved it... All that matters! 8/17/2010

Was recommended by a family member to use WGS for a wedding ring, and it was worth the drive from Carlsbad. Was helped by both Todd and the owner, Mike, who sat down with me and went over hundreds of stones and settings. I was pretty particular as well, knowing what my wife would want, and working with my rather slim budget. In the end I came away with a great ring that my wife loves. Well worth it! more

Mike and his staff are all friendly and knowledgeable about anything to do with jewelry. You ask and it's answered on the spot, none of this I get back to you kind of stuff. Mike has a wealth of experience for being so young and his connections within the gemological industry are amazing. Overall my wife and I couldn't be happier with our various pieces of jewelry we have purchased over the years. Anything you need they can do. We had my wife’s ring appraised and resized. My New Family Jeweler 11/4/2009

I was "window shopping" when I met Vic. We made an immediate connection. Vic said he had the "Perfect Wedding band for me." He was right. Not long after my fiance purchased the ring I went back to (hey thats what women do.) Michael Moses and his team fit me into an amazing pair of earring, watch and pinkie ring (all true vintage.) I then had some extra diamonds. Whitney (Michaels jewelry designer) created a pendant with those loose stones to help match my new jewelry. This pendant is a must see!!! My new pendant became an instant family heirloom. Michael Moses and his team are not only our new family jeweler but our friends now too. Pros: Best Jewelry Experience Ever! more

I purchased my wifes wedding ring from Todd Bradshaw, and i must say i am so happy with my decision. He knew exactly what he was talking about, provided all the information i needed, and helped me purchase the best ring i could find withing my budget. I will only shop with them for my jewlery needs from now on. Its great to have people you can trust in the jewlery business. You wont regret going here. Great Service, Great Knoledge 8/28/2009

I went in with my Grandmothers ring, and these guys were able to tell me all sorts of history and knowledge about it. They sat with me for a long time answering all of my questions, and now I know all sorts of neat things about diamonds and its history. My girlfriend was floored when I told her all the history about it. I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you want to know things about older thing you have. It was a great experience! I can not say enough great things about World Gemologist Services. I recently purchased my fiancée’s engagement there and the service I received was outstanding. Michael Cortez worked with me to find the exact setting and stone that I was looking for. I had something unique in mind and he found and brought in a setting that matched my description exactly. Of all of the jewelers I visited, this was the friendliest, most low-stress, and most knowledgeable. They truly go out of their way to create the perfect ring for you and they do so while respecting your budget and being perfectly forthright and honest. Terrific Experience Purchasing an Engagement Ring and Band 7/16/2009

I was really pleased with the process at World Gemological Services. I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted and they were happy to make something unique. They warned me that the stone I was looking for might take a week to get, but they were actually able to get it for me in just 2 days! Not only was the service fast, but the price was cheaper than what I could find for lower quality stones on Blue Nile. It is hard to argue with that. Normally I am all about shopping online, but this good experience has made me reconsider purchasing from local merchants. Thanks again WGS! Pros: Best prices, friendly service more

Best price and quality I could find for our wedding rings 2/2/2009

So I had done my research before commiting to a jeweler to make mine and my fiances wedding bands. I am really glad I found World Gemological Services from a friend. Mike, Hyochin and Whitney all worked with me to get me the exact rings we had wanted, at a pretty darn good price. I really thought it would have been thousands more. Michael Moses is just about the most helpful and passionate professional I have ever encountered. These people are gemologists first, jewelers second. I was and am wholly convinced that their focus is on delivering the best for the most reasonable price. I was nervous about getting swindled as I started looking for my fiancee's ring, but I went to these people first (after reading a review here). Everything seemed so fair, but I'd never shopped for rings before, so I kept looking. The next several places I checked tried to sell me obviously poorer quality stones for ridiculously higher prices than what was offered at World Gemological Services. So I went back, ready to pay the price we'd discussed when we left off, and then Moses knocked off some more of the price before I could even get a word in. And the ring could not be better suited to my fiancee's taste. more

Great jewelry appraiser 1/12/2009

I have been looking for a jewelry appraiser for some rings for some time and finally found a great service. Todd Bradshaw from World Gemological Services helped me, and was professional, courteous and informative. I did not have to go the the trouble and worry of mailing my rings somewhere and waiting weeks for the informtation. Todd did the evaluation right in front of me, and took in depth pictures of the rings and didn't need to take my rings with him. The whole experience was great, and I actually learned a lot about the jewelry I have. more
