Vince's Other Place

Walked in and thought I was in 1960. Combination of Harley Riders, old farts who were probably 'tough guys' 40 years ago, lots of BIG women and a few bar flies. Someone played a bunch of ""I'm crying in my beer"" songs (this is during Happy Hour!!) and two people had their dogs, off leash, sniffing everyone's ass. Drink prices were reasonable, but when the barmaid smiled, she looked like a Jack 'o Lantern. Very depressing, but was suppose to be ""crowded"" after 10 pm. I'll never know. more

I was going to Vinces off and On for several years. It seemed like a nice sports bar TILL.... I went there after Superbowl for a few beers. The bartender working that night was a huge PIttsburg fan, BUT she seemed to take her teams LOSINg out on me (I had a Paackers hat on), she refused to serve me and was rude to me just because I had on a Packers hat. Someone should tell her shes In cincinnati, and yes there are people here who Hate the steelers, and two, its just a game, and no fans can decide the outcome, and three, she shouldnt treat customers that way. The way she treated me was childish and rude, and I decided not to ever go to Vinces ever again. Sorry, because of one bartender, Vinces lost a customer. Oh keep in mind a couple of weeks before this she said to me she ""hoped that i would fall on my face and break my nose"" because Im not a pittsburg fan. There is a good thing though, there is a back deck for smokers. PROS: outside smoking area. CONS: Rude bartender!!!! more

Vince fired me for objecting to him and one of his friends using the ""N"" word over and over. In his words ""No one is going to tell him or one of his friends what they can and cannot say in his own bar"". The man is a pig!!!! Pros: Customers are great Cons: Owner is unfair more

I have been a regular at Vince's for over 15 years.. it is a drama free place to be... the drink prices are by far the best around and the crowd is varied..any age can feel welcomed and not out of place.. there is a nice deck out back for the smokers to take there drinks and smoke comfortably with heaters in the winter... Vince was very patient with our schedule. He was respectful and helpful in getting the bride and the bridesmaids in and out of the limo and even had a sign made for the side of the limo congratulating us on our marriage. We could not have been happier with how great of a job he did. Pros: Great driving, respectful of everyone, nice limo Cons: Could be a little more organized more

Vince's Other Place is probably one of the best places to go for Happy Hour. It gets a little crowded and some of the staff are @$$ Holes. Other than that, a nice bar. Pros: Great Prices, Hot Barmaids Cons: Can't smoke inside! more

Vince's other place is one of my favorite bars. It has almost unmatchable drink prices, humourus bartenders and a crowd of regulars that want to protect the bar at any cost. Any race, sexual preference, or lifestyle presence can walk into Vince's and be accepted as long as they don't disrespect, Vince, the staff, or a regular.
