The house itself is actually cute, however, the food was disappointing. Since it was Mother's Day weekend, there was only one choice of high tea (and I had no problem with that). The salad consisted of some iceberg leaves with bland yogurt dressing. Loveless. The scone was so moist and sticky that it was almost impossible to eat. The sandwiches were below average and accompanied by some dry pieces of carrot, celery, and a sad little 'fruit-kebab'. The chocolate truffles were okay. The cake tasted cheap and overly sweet. I highly doubt that the people who run this place ever had real high tea themselves. Also, it is fine that everything is for sale. But please don't put industrial price tags right in the middle of everything. Why not e.g. handwritten tags on little strings? Overall there is a lot of room for improvement. Good luck with that.
