I have used turfco for years and have never had an issue with my services. i like the hassle of not having to take off work in order for them to come and treat my yard or do my inspections and sprays. I would definately recommend them to anyone. more

I've used this company for two years and have never had a problem with my service. Nor have I had a pest problem while with the company. I've only had to call once, because I got freaked out by a spider, and they came out quickly - I didn't have to wait. Worst Service! Dont come out when they're supposed to. Dont call back when theyre supposed to. Nobody seems to know what they're doing - only 1 person in management who can handle situations - and she's ALWAYS unavailable. They make promises to call back and that never happens. Total cluster. Would give 0 stars if I could. more

Do Not waiste your time and or money. Thats unless you like giving people money for no reason. The owner obviously cant even run his own bussiness. The owner is Hank Weaver. The girl that works in the office her name is Heather. There is no ""robert or brigette"" those are fake names they use so know one who calls in really knows who your speaking to. Weaver investments went down the tank. Fort Knoxs security is getting sued an is going in the tank. The company name turfco is getting sued an they are changing there name to US pest because of it and because there customer service is BULL! I have there so called lawn care. I pay money out of my account every month. Im supposed to get 7 treatments a year. I got 1-5 treatments. but they have been gladly taking money from my account for round 6 and 7 that i never got. when i called to have it taken care of they told me i need to send in a letter to cancel 3 months before my renewal date! are you serious!? so your goin to take money from me for servces not rendered then tell me if i didnt want them to come back out. that i had to send in a letter 3 months ahead. what a joke..... I then found out that they dont even have techs doin work that there billing people for! Turfco is also listed on the BBB with an F rating!!!!!!!!! think twice....................... more

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible 4/5/2010

This company is terrible. I highly doubt that they did ANYTHING to prevent or monitor for termites. I am guessing they came out to my home twice a year? Not only that, but dealing with canceling with this company has been a nightmare. Please check the BBB's website and read the hundreds of complaints against this company. Please Avoid Doing Business with Turfo 8/24/2009

I did not folow the advise of others to avoid this company - I went for the $5 cheaper... what a mistake. 3 times in less than a year I had call to check why I did not come to my home. The usal excuse ... something happen we will be right there .... yeap right! For other reason I cancel their services and not I got a endeless list of invoces that keep coming 1.5 years after I cancel. I called and asked thne to fix but it does not go anywhere. I guess this company has the strategy to be like blend of a used car and gym sales person. Pros: Work was average - when they remeber to shop up! Cons: Billing Scam more

Do Not Use 5/9/2009

After 10yrs of termite service, I sold my house and needed a termite clearance letter. They said they could not do it because there inspector was not available??? It delay my closing as I had to scramble around to find another company to clear my house. At that time I cancelled my bill. 8 months later they spray my old house and sent a bill. This is after repeated attemps to close my account. Now they threaten to send my bill to collection if I do not pay for a house I do not even live in. They would not work with me at all. Do not use this compnay. Pros: Ok until there is an issue Cons: Billing and not repetiable Will not work with you more

The Better Bus. Bur. has issued 4 consumer alerts and the TN Dept of Commerce lists them on their Buyer Beware list. Long after you cancel your service, you will continue to receive bills that are not due. You can call their office and will be told to ""disregard"" but they will never credit your account or call you back. Absolutely the most dishonest company - I don't know how anybody could work there and sleep at night. Cons: deceptive billing practices more

Full price, NO SERVICE. 8/21/2008

About 98% of the reviews are bad , which leads me to believe the employee's are writing the ""excellent"" reviews. I called multiple times for service and every time I got someone new. Everytime I asked for the most recent person I spoke with, I was notified they no longer worked there. Poor girl - I told her I felt absolutely sorry for her, and to get out as soon as she possibly could. I called 2 weeks later, and sure enough, she was gone also. In May of 2007 we decided to go with another company for our Termite, so I called to cancel the account. I was notified that I must cancel, in writing, 90 days before the renewal date (which is in June). Without being a pain, we continued service for another year. We did NOT recieve the treatment we paid $175 for. In Febuary 2008- I sent in a cancellation PLENTY of time in advance. I thought it would have gotten taken care of, but, to this day they are saying they never recieved my cancellation and I will now be charged ANOTHER $175. Now, not only am NOT paying the additional $175 they are trying to charge me - I am demanding a refund of $175 for 2007 treatment they did not perform. I keep getting the run-around and no manager is ever available. The office ladies are rude - which, I can't blame them for being bitchy when they work for a company like that. I would never recommend this company to anyone. more

We trusted Turfco to take care of our pest control because it was on the list of companies our builders used when developing our subdivision. BIG mistake. In two years, I have only seen Tufco twice, though they deduct money from my account each month. They do not return phone calls, no matter how many times you may try to contact them. They also suckered us into a yearly contract that renews automaticallly unless you submit a written notice several months in advance. We have been seeing spiders lately and despite my relentless calling since May, the only service we have received is a bill. Cons: poor service/no service, non-negotiable contracts that automatically renew without notice more

Don't do business!!! 6/3/2008

I faxed in a letter for them to end my contract in June '07. I checked my bank account Aug '07 and saw a draft for July '07. I called and reported it to them and they admitted to receiving my cancellation notice. I was told that they would look into it. A month later I called again since they didn't call me. I was then told that the account being audited, along with many others. I waited even longer. When I called again, still, my file is still being reviewed. A few months after that, the person that I had been speaking to no longer worked there. I had to try to explain everything all over but was cut off before being able to finish. They had the nerve to send me a bill today for over $200 for something that they already knew to stop doing! The customer service is really horrible. I tried to find a physical address since the phone calls are not working but only found a P.O. Box address. Looks like I'm going to have to take this to my lawyer. more

Great Customer Service 5/20/2008

I had a pest problem- called and spoke with Michelle- the next day I had a guy out at my house to spray. I enjoy calling just to speak to Michelle as she is very pleasant. Also Bridgette and Marie are fabulous as well. I have my termite, pest and lawn with them as well. Would reccomend them to anyone! Pros: Michelle and Marie more

Turfco 5/7/2008

I have had Turfco for some time now and I have not been getting anything but the Bills and there right on time each month, I have stoped there Lawn servis and Termite Control about 2 months ago and today I got a Bill for $175.00 and no one has been here sence last year in Aug. 2007 but they have been getting payed month by month by the bank on direct pay I had that stoped and now I get the bill. They were to call me each time they come out and as for the Lawn I think I have recived 3 calls last year and for the Termite I have not recived a call in the past 3yr. I have tryed to call them and they say they have not recived anything on stopping the Termite Controle so I was to get the treatment this month and the Lady told me she was not going to get into it with me and hung up on me. Cons: They dont give you what you pay for more

These guys are total con artists. They might stop by three or four times per year (though you pay for seven treatments), and you have to call and request service to even get that much (and you're not supposed to have to call, so they say...) Cons: You will not receive the service you pay for. more

Do not do business with this company 2/1/2008

I have been trying to speak with Heather from this company since July 2007 to straighten out my account. In Dec. 2007 I was told that she no longer woks for the company. I was then referred to speak with Bridgett. Bad idea! She doesn't returns telephone calls either. The will bill you for services they didn't provide. On a good day, they will draft your account twice in one month! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Cons: they are cons themselves more
